[Tommy Paul wins ATP Men’s Clay Court] In a stunning victory against Roman Andres Burruchaga, Tommy Paul was able to win this year’s ATP 250 Fayez Sarofim & Co U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship at Houston River Oaks Country Club with a final score of 8-3-7 to 1-6-5. It should be noted that Roman Andres Burruchaga (ARG) proved himself to not only be a worthy challenger on the court, but he played like a piece of iron on the court that could not be broken. While both players were visibly fatigued during this match which lasted a whopping one hour forty minutes, neither player refused to give in. Starting with Roman Andres Burruchaga, he earned a serve rating of 258, with one ace, and three double faults. His first serve was 78/106(74%) and his break points saved stood at 11/16(69%) with 14 service games played.
