[Trackbox Studios Houston Music Artist Discovery] When it comes to Music Artists in Houston, Texas, there have been people expressing their frustration not only with the lack of talent that’s being produced from Houston, but that have also expressed their frustration with having to hear the “same Old G’s” every time there’s a musical event in Houston. Houston Music Artists such as Pall Wall, Z-Ro, Slim Thug, Scarface, Bun-B, and even the highly successful Megan Thee Stallion have been fatiguing the ears of Houstonians that love Hip-Hop for years. But it appears that all of that is getting ready to change with Houston's own Maurice “Duke” Hunt of Trackbox Studios which is located at 7171 Highway 6 North Ste. 290C Houston, TX 77095.
Trackbox Studios in conjunction with VEDA World News will be hosting its first annual “Artist Discovery” which will be held at 5510 Lawndale St. Houston, Tx 77023 on April 11th from 6-10pm. The Houston Music Artist Discovery showcase will not only be open to the public but will feature headliners “Eko Diaz”, “Josh McBurrows”, “AJY”, “11xi”, “Sev3n 1 Three”, Matthew Girma and others. Again, this event is open for all Houston Artists who wish to perform.
Duke is a highly successful and seasoned Producer, Vocal Coach, Platinum Certified Singer and Songwriter who has performed production work with the likes of world-famous Producer Dr. Dre and other music industry A-Listers over the decades.
According to the Trackbox Studios website:
“His musical arsenal consists of R&B, Hip-hop, Trap, Alternative Rock, Pop and Gospel. Duke has worked with Commissioner Gordon Williams, John Oates, Mariah Carey, Roscoe, Becky G, Blaq Rose and Broadway theatrical acts such as Disney's Lion King Brandon Kane (Young Simba) and actress Roslyn Cohn.”
Hosted by Special Guest KING PARADISE, the Houston Music Artist Discovery showcase is more than a place to perform as this is the opportunity for Artists to meet, greet, and network. It should be noted that the selected Artist will win an exclusive Artist Development Package and free studio time. Tickets are available here and start at $16.24 (RSVP) and $20 at the door. The Artist Performance Fee is $27.06. There will be room for Vendors as the Vendor fee is $54.13. There will also be a flash fashion show in which Fashion Designers will be able to showcase their clothing ($50 entry fee).
