[Ukraine Russia Istanbul peace talks] Today a third round of peace talks are set to occur between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul, Türkiye. While Volodymyr Zelensky appears to be optimistic about the possibility of a breakthrough in terms of reaching an agreement with Russia, Russia seems to be skeptical that any kind of successful peace deal will come about from this round of peace talks. Geopolitical analysts also appear to be highly skeptical about anything positive coming from this round of peace talks because America and the Collective West are still shipping weapons to Ukraine.
It's been three years since Ukraine's provocation towards Russia invoked Russia to embark on a special military operation that morphed into a full-blown hot war between the two nations. To date, both nations have engaged in successful prisoner swaps, but with no end of fighting in sight, its predicted by many that there will be no peace deal made by Russia, as American President Trump’s threatened to issue new sanctions and tariffs on Russian goods and products within 50 days. In response to this Russian Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that:
“Russia is ready to move fast, the main thing for us is to achieve our goals. Our goals are clear, obvious, they do not change. But the process depends not only on us. This is a long process, it requires effort, and it is not easy. And, most likely, more and more people in Washington understand this.”
OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS
While today's scheduled peace talks between Ukraine and Russia look like a positive step in the right direction, no one should allow today's peace talks to blind them to the fact that Russia is seeking to control the vast majority of Ukraine – and they should. The reason why Russia should control a vast majority of Ukraine is because Ukraine has thoroughly demonstrated that it cannot resist the temptation of receiving weapons from the Collective West and it has failed to give up on the notion that somehow it should become part of NATO in the future.
Even more than that, it should be understood that President Trump not only has no business threatening Russia with more sanction which also most never work and are doomed to fail again, but he should not be injecting America into the conflict between foreign nations as it is perceived by many Americans to be unamerican. The notion that President Trump believes that applying tariffs on Russian goods and products will work is tantamount to be retarded. Why? because Russia is one of the largest suppliers of uranium to the United States.
although it's unlikely that Russia would pull the plug on selling America uranium because the selling of uranium to America benefits Russia's military and domestic operations; it can be said that Russia will most likely not be affected by tariffs introduced by President Trump as Russia is a major energy, oil, and gas supplier to China, India, and other countries around the world. Summing this up, regardless of how many weapons the Collective West sends to Ukraine or the threats made by President Trump to Russia; there is no stopping Russia as whatever Russia wants, Russia will get – as it should.
