While many new outlets in the United States are pushing the narrative that the talks that happened over the weekend between President Trump and Hamas were “productive”, if history has showed the world anything when it comes to the perpetual state of war in West Asia, is that these talks are just that “talks” which seem to lead down a path called “nowhere” and tend to fail time and time again. There's a reason for that and one of those reasons is that America and the Collective West consistently fails to respect and view the world through the eyes of organizations such as Hamas and the people that inhabit West Asia as a whole.

The notion of “my way or the highway” when it comes geopolitics simply doesn't cut it anymore. The other thing that history has taught the world is that Israel will always find a way or an angle to essentially torpedo any talks of peace in the region. Supporting this position is that it was recently reported that President Trump has been not only increasingly getting tired of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but he’s also beginning to feel as if he been getting played for quite a while; and like the old saying goes: “if you feel like you’ve been getting played – you probably are”.

Another reason why this round of “talks” will fail is because the government of Israel has been and is still seeking to ignite a war with Iran, which to Iran credit has been smart enough not to fall into the Israel’s trap. With that being said, the question that many people are asking is how long will Iran continue to turn the other cheek while Israel executes provocations that further pushes Iran into a corner in which they would be forced to respond? Again, there are a thousand and one things that could be listed here as to why these current talks will fail. But there is one thing that President Trump could do to not only stop the genocide in Gaza, but put a hard stop, not a pause, on the forever war that has been waging in West Asia since well, forever.

The best solution that President Trump could implement is to completely walk away from Israel. This would entail walking away from the funding and supporting of Israel as well as walking away and outright banning the American Israeli lobby that has for all intents and purposes “hi-jacked” both the American government and American foreign interest and policy. Supporting this position is the fact that it's been reported by the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) that Americans are no longer steadfast in supporting Israel. Adding insult to injury, it was reported in the times of Israel that “53% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Israel compared to 42% in 2022”. In short Americans have gotten tired of using their hard-earned money to fund the wars of other people in foreign lands when there is a war on the middle class and poor people right here in America that needs to be addressed.

It was also reported that Israel fears the deal made this weekend between President Trump and Hamas because they possibly won't be able to control the narrative that they have been preaching for the last 4 decades.
