The first thing that must be said when it comes to Texas political hopeful Vince Dunkin is that it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to speak with him on AFRO Vibes TV. Vince Dunkin is incredibly well read and very astute in terms of all things within the world of not only politics, but geopolitics. What we liked the most about this interview was that Vince Dunkin was able to speak on both micro and macro topics of the day as well as provide the necessary and relevant historical ties in conversation that was needed for the viewers to understand.
Vince Dunkin is currently running for U.S. House of Representative’s Texas 18th Congressional District, the same iconic seat in which both the City of Houston and the State of Texas lost two well-loved Representatives within a one-year span. Those Texas Representatives were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-lee and former Mayor of Houston Congressman Sylvester Turner.
What makes political hopeful Vince Dunkin special is that he's not running on the Democratic nor the Republican ticket, instead he is running as an Independent. According to many Americans who are fed up with having to vote for either a Republican or Democrat, now seems to be one of the best times in American history for independent to make their way into the political arena in a big way Vince Dunkin was able to touching on topics concerning economy and international trade, to what's happening in Burkina Faso, healthcare, education, the ongoing crisis of gentrification within the City of Houston to many of the controversial issues that are happening in Washington D.C.
Throughout the course of this interview Vince Dunkin was able to provide on the spot answers and solutions that could make the lives of not only historians, but the lives of all Americans better. This was both a very well-rounded and complex interview in which no stone was left unturned within the allotted time. We urge you to take a listen.
