[America supports Jihadi’s in Syrian Army] It was just some time ago that the American military was on Jihadi fighting binge in Afghanistan and Iraq, now it seems that America has had a change of heart by supporting the Syrian interim President Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammad al-Julani) to allow roughly 3,500 Jihadi Fighters to be incorporated into the Syrian National Army. It was reported by sources that the majority of Jihadi Fighters that will make up the new Syrian army will come from the Uyghurs from China and the surrounding countries like Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.

While many American Veterans see this as an absolute betrayal by the Trump Administration, the Trump Administration views the incorporation of Jihadi Fighters into the 84th Syrian Army as a strategic move. This is backed by U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Thomas Barrack, who also thinks that it was better to incorporate Jihadi Fighters into the ranks of the Syrian Army as they are seen as loyal to the new Syrian government. Again, the question that is being asked by many people around the world is not only why? But what does the Trump Administration or America for that matter get out of any deal with the Syrian government?

The question is why did America pivot from its initial position of wanting to exclude any foreign fighters from joining the military of the new Syrian government? could it be that the Trump Administration was able to strike a deal with the new Syrian government amidst the lifting of its sanctions on Syria? And if so, what does America get out of the deal? The answer to that is currently unknown.

What is known is that the new Syrian Defense Ministry has been communicating with the Trump Administration that the inclusion of Jihadi Fighters would be constitute a reduction in security risk and by including within the ranks of the new Syrian army, there would be less of chance that they would turn to ISIS or Al-Qaeda. The irony is that America pays Al-Qaeda $40 million every week in support of their regime despite waging a failing war against them years prior. Question: Is America paying Al-Qaeda reparations with American tax dollars?

With Jihadi Fighters being imported from China, China has expressed their concerns because their government has designated Uygur Fighters as a terrorist organization. But even if Uyghur fighters may have ceased their past terrorist activities and have proven themselves to being “loyal, discipline, and experience militants” to Syrian interim president according to Reuters, many fear that the mentality and trade craft of exporting terrorism wholesale to the world is still there and will forever be present in the minds of such men.
