[CUBA FLORIDA RAUL CASTRO WARRANT] Today a Florida judge signed off on a warrant for the arrest of former Cuban President Raul Castro for giving the order for two Cuban fighter jets to shoot down two American planes that resulted in the killing of four people that he claimed “violated Cuban airspace” in 1996. The former President is currently 95 years old, and the actions of America are being considered a new escalatory action towards the already broken country of Cuba which has been the subject of American sanctions since the Kennedy Administration.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier stated to the Press that “we are announcing state charges against Raul Castro with an arrest warrant for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.”  According to observers of the Geopolitical Chessboard, the actions of America are being perceived as causing further erosion of international law. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel is calling the American warrant a political maneuver, devoid of any legal foundation”.  The Cuban government has maintained that the order to shoot down the two American planes were based on the premise of self-defense.
