[Germany’s war with Russia] German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s latest statement, if executed, will not only make Germany a direct combatant in Ukraine’s war of provocation towards Russia, which led to Russia executing a special military operation against Ukraine. but if Chancellor Friedrich Merz following words are acted upon, it will place Germany square in the cross hairs of a Russian counter-offensive, hence expanding the war deeper into NATO’s borders. This is something that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to avoid. Chancellor Friedrich Merz made the following statement yesterday at the Europa-Forum:

“We will do everything in our power to continue supporting Ukraine militarily.” “There are no longer any range restrictions on weapons supplied to Ukraine, neither from the British nor the French, nor from us, nor from the Americas”.

What long range missiles is Chancellor Friedrich Merz considering providing Ukrainian forces? Currently the best candidate is  Germany's own Taurus missiles which have an estimated aerial range of 500 km which would be capable of striking deep into Russia. According to analysts, the provocative words of Chancellor Friedrich Merz couldn't have come at a worst time as Ukraine and Russia are slowly creeping into peace talks and just performed a 1 to 1 prison swap that led to the release of 1,000 prisoners each from both sides. Regardless of how Chancellor Friedrich Merz perceives both President Putin and his actions, it makes no difference on the world stage as the vast majority of people in the world have grown exceptionally tired of war.

Despite people around the world being tired of war, Chancellor Friedrich Merz managed to expound on his previous provocative statement by saying:

“We must prepare ourselves for this war to last longer than any of us could wish or imagine.”

With America lifting restrictions on what kinds of aerial weapons Ukraine can deploy against Russia it seems to have opened the door for countries like Germany to at least consider escalating their missile shipments and deployment strategies.

At the moment Russia has no intention of broadening the scope of its presence towards the borders of Germany and even Poland for that matter. However, with Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s latest round of bullshit threats towards Russia, it may be possible that Germany may be personally inviting the devil himself to their doorsteps. It seems as if Germany has forgotten its defeat by the hands of Russia it took during operation Barbarossa which led to the collapse of the Nazi regime. Sometimes a hard head makes a soft ass and some people, in this case a nation may have to be reeducated in order to relearn the previous lesson the hard way. This is especially true given the fact that Germany is considering reinstating a military conscription next year.

On the other hand, maybe Chancellor Friedrich Merz is taking a play out of America's playbook considering that Germany is currently broke and in recession. That play entails the creation of a wartime economy during times of economic hardship. It could theoretically unify the people of Germany to the point that their solidarity digs them out of their self-inflicted economic hell hole. But even if it does, the question that needs to be asked is: are the people of Germany ready to pay the ultimate price of death  for economic gain? Let us know in the comments below.
