[Houston Dash Angel City FC] Tonight's match-up between the Houston Dash and the Angel City FC was definitely considered a change of pace for the Houston Dash according to fans. It seems that the Houston Dash is picking up steam on the pitch as Kat Rader scored the first point of the match at the 17th minute of the match. While it's been a while since the Houston Dash scored within the first 20 minutes of first half, fans are wondering what it will take to make this a trend? The Angel City FC was also able to score a point via penalty kick in the first half at the 26-minute mark as Dash Goalkeeper Hillary Bell struggled to defend against Angel City’s Maiara Niehues’s penalty kick tying the score 1-1 by the end of the first half.
Gameplay at the top of the second half could be considered steady and consistent as both teams maintained the ability to stop the other team from scoring through great ball movement and defensive strategy on the pitch. But for Houston Dash fans it was the 91st minute at the bottom of the second half by Midfielder Maggie Graham who brought the Dash over the hump for a win for tonight's game.
