[Houston Dash Defeats Racing Louisville 4-3] Yesterday the Houston Dash displayed not only what teamwork looks like but how professional soccer should be played. This was an exciting match that kept fans and detractors alike on the edge of their seats. The Houston Dash facing off against the Racing Louisville FC and winning 4-3 tied them in terms of wins when you look at the head-to-head historical record for the last 11 matches, they’ve played against each other. Looking at the stats, Racing Louisville possessed the ball slightly more than the Houston Dash at 54% to the Dash’s 46% of the time. Playing aggressively, the Houston Dash took a total of 24 shots to the Racing Louisville 8 shots. Out of the 24 shots the Houston Dash took, they had five shots on goal. Dash midfielder Sarah Puntigam scored the fourth goal of the match at the 99th minute of the match. Racing Louisville’s Taylor Flint scored their team’s first goal at the 24th minute and the 82nd minute of the match. Sarah Webber of the Racing Louisville FC also scored in the 49th minute. The next Houston Dash match will take place, April 25th, at 7pm against the North Carolina Courage at Shell Energy Stadium located in Houston, Texas.
