[HOUSTON DYNAMO FEED THE BLOCK COMMUNITY EVENT] If you don’t know, the Houston Dynamo’s not only make it a point to do well on the pitch, but they also make it a point to do well by the community. Today the Houston Dynamo’s held what they called at “Feed The Block Community Event” which lasted from 10am to 4pm at Houston sports park which is located at 5907 Selinsky rd., down the street from the former Sabercats Stadium. During today's community event the Houston Dynamo provided not only food, drink, and entertainment in the form of a live DJ; but they also gave away school supplies and other essential items.

Beyond that, the Houston Dynamo also took the time out to engage fans while Houston Dynamo Trainers provided free soccer lessons for both the youth and adults that were in attendance. It was estimated that at least 1,500 people attended today's community block party where fun was the center theme of the day. According to an authorized Dynamo spokesperson, “Feed The Block is a community-driven initiative focused on giving back, supporting families, and bringing resources directly to the neighborhood.”
