[Iran Trump Peace Plan] In what many geopolitical analysts are calling a brave act of defiance, Iran has rejected the Trump Administration 15-point peace plan calling it “ambitious, unusual, and illogical”. Instead, the Iranian Government counter the Americans 15-point peace plan with their 10-point peace plan. While the Americans are demanding a 30-day ceasefire, the dismantling of all Iranian nuclear sites and uranium enrichment, the opening of the strait of Hormuz, in exchange for the lifting of sanctions, and for Iran to cease and desist funding for proxy groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas.  Iran doesn’t see any of this as feasible citing that they are seeking a permanent end to the fighting in the region, not a ceasefire which has historically and perpetually failed. Iran is also making the argument that it, like all nations, reserves the right to enrich uranium for both peace and war time use.

President Trump announced that the failure of Iran to accept his administration's 15-point peace plan within 48-hours would result in the Americans targeting every power plant and bridge within Iran, a move that by all accounts would violate international law. Iran’s 10-point point peace plan includes the following:

1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again

2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire

3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon

4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran

5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies

6. In return, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz

7. Iran would impose a Hormuz fee of $2 million per ship

8. Iran would split these fees with Oman

9. Iran to provide rules for safe passage through Hormuz

10. Iran to use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations

In response to President Trump threat of militarily striking all Iranian power plants and bridges, it has been reported that the secretary of the Supreme Council of Youth and Adolescents Alireza Rahimi urged its nations youth to construct human chains around power plants and bridges as a form of protest to stop the Americans from executing its military strikes on its civilian infrastructure. While Iran is seeing this as a form of protest and to potentially stop the Americans from bombing its civilian infrastructure, the Americans are perceiving this as Iran using human shields.

It should also be noted that Iran has declared that it's ready for a long-term war with the Americans. Reinforcing Iran's claim is the fact that it has shot down an estimated five or six American military plans and fighter jets to include a F-35 and a F-15E strike Eagle while simultaneously inflicting massive amounts of financial damage on the Americans. Exactly how much more can the American continue to lose in terms of financial and military assets is currently unknown. However, speculators, war and geopolitical analysts are taking the position that the continuation of American loses against Iran is unsustainable

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

The Trump Administration is desperate for any kind of win. What we mean by this is that the Trump Administration has failed to meet its objective to not only decapitate the Iranian Government but to defeat the Iranian military, resorting to striking civilian infrastructure that has no military application which is a war crime by international law, is considered by all accounts low hanging fruit. With President Trump rhetoric and threats to “bomb Iran into the stone age”, demonstrates that he not only has failed to understand that bombing campaigns have never worked in the past, but bombing campaigns of any kind in any country does nothing but harden the resolve of the targeted country.

In the case of Iran, a country with just over 90 million people and a standing operational military apparatus with highly significant fighting power, President Trump's recent miscalculation and the use of gun boat diplomacy has and will not produce any of the desired goals and objectives of the Trump Administration. Our prediction is that if the Trump Administration continues down the path that it's currently taking when it comes to interfacing with Iran,  it may force the Iranian Government to not only begin targeting key American financial institutions such as VISA, Mastercard and other banking institutions via cyber warfare, but it may very well push Iran to military the American mainland through the use of ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles).
