[Iran American Israeli war] Despite the ongoing three-sided war between the Americans, Israelis, and Iran which sent gas prices up globally in the last two weeks, the talk of negotiations is still being considered. With the son now supreme leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei of the recently assassinated supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei being named as his successor, it was stated to press from Iranian officials that the war will continue until “real guarantees” from both the Americans and Israeli take place. Iranian officials are currently rejecting any type of cease fire as they appear to have the upper hand in the war. In recent days Israeli in conjunction with the Americans have attacked and destroyed civilian infrastructure which is considered a war crime by international rules of war.

Iranian officials underlined the three conditions that must be met before they consider ending the war in response to American-Israeli aggression. According to sources, the three conditions that Iran are demanding to be met are: “a formal US pledge not to launch future military attacks, recognition of Iran’s right to a full nuclear fuel cycle, and financial compensation for damage sustained during the ongoing conflict.” With Iran appearing to “hold all the cards”, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated to the Press regarding Iran's counter-offensive that Iran is ready and willing to fight “as long as necessary” to achieve its war objectives that run counter to the Americans and Israelis.

In response to the American-Israeli aggression, Iran has effectively closed the strait of Hormuz only allowing allied counties to enter. It should be noted that roughly 20% of the world's oil originated from the Strait of Hormuz. Counter-responding, American president Donald trump stated that because Iran has closed the strait of Hormuz, making a choke point for the international shipment of oil, he would strike Iran “20 times harder”. Iran's supreme national security council secretary Ali Larijani is calling president trump threats “empty”. For many geopolitical analysts and political pundits, this signals that Iran appears to be not only ready to deal with whatever the Americans and Israelis can throw towards them, but Iran seems to be militarily capable of executing devastating counter-strikes in response.

Giving credibility to their position is the fact that Iran executed a counter-strike on Israeli oil, gas, and energy facilities rendering a total blackout across Israel; this left both the Americans and Israel seeking a cease fire due to the veracity of Iran’s counter-strike measures. Although president trump has declared that America and Israeli are winning the war, actually reports for boots on the ground are stating otherwise as the Americans and Israeli’s have not only been running out of weapons to sustain their war aggression towards Iran, but have consistently failed to produce any gains on their warfront either in terms of regime change or the forced annexation of Iran.

The American congress is extremely hesitant to put any American troops on the ground in Iran as fears of sustaining a high casualty rate continue to grow. In terms of Israel, it appears that Iranian strikes have reduced many parts of the Israeli state into bombed out blocks of current day Gaza. This has forced Israel to apply a media blackout to stop images and video from getting out under the auspices of national security. However, the international community perceives this as Israel not only attempting to control the narrative but as an effort by Israel to avoid geopolitical embarrassment.
