[Israel violates ceasefire] As predicted at VEDA World News, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will not only be violated but would be violated by Israel. Yesterday and today, Israel carried out aerial offensives that killed 11 people on a bus en route to their home in Gaza and another 26 Gazans killed after today's air strikes. Hamas official Izzat al-Rishq accused Israel of “violating the deal and fabricating pretext to justify its crime”.
According to the Gaza Government Media Office, an estimated 97 Palestinians have been killed by Israel and another 230 have been injured since the ceasefire was supposed to take effect on October 10th. In the aftermath of the violation of the ceasefire agreement, Israel has again stopped the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza and restarted the man-made famine that has been plaguing the people of Palestine.
According to Palestinian residents, there were at least 12 Israeli air strikes that struck eastern Khan Younis, central Gaza, al-Zawaida, and Nuesirat. While many political pundits around the world believe that the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is a positive step in the right direction, they are overshadowed by political pundits that not only believe the ceasefire is “fragile” but is doomed to fail in the long run.
OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS
The ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel is doomed to fail for two simple reasons. The first is because Israel has a long track record of violating ceasefire deals and anytime of its choosing, but Hamas has made it abundantly clear that it will not surrender its arms. With the IDF claiming to control 50% of Gaza, one can't help but wonder why Israel is continuing to fail to “rid the world of Hamas" in the slightest sense. Currently, Israel has stated that it will resume the enforcement of the ceasefire.
The truth of the matter is there is no convincing Israel to stop is war of genocide against the people of Gaza no more than there’s no convincing Hamas to surrender their weapons. From our perspective this is a never-ending war and the reason for that is because of Israel; there won’t stop until Hamas is no more and Hamas won’t stop because for them if they can survive after Israel exhausts themselves of military resources – then they win. Our prediction is that peace within the region cannot be reached due to foreign interference, the motivating factor of religious ideals, and the fact that prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs this war to furlough having to face the Israeli judicial system.
