[Rahmanullah Lakanwal CIA National Guard killing] While there hasn't been an official motive found by federal investigators as to why CIA Asset Rahmanullah Lakanwal (29) who was assigned to what was known within the CIA as a “Zero Unit” (Kandahar Strike Force) decided to go on a what law enforcement are calling a “target” shooting rampage which claimed the lives of National Guard Members Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe and Spc. Sarah Beckstrom in Washington DC earlier this week. new information that may provide clues to Rahmanullah Lakanwal state of mind just before the shooting has come to surface. Sources have revealed that even though Rahmanullah Lakanwal was properly screened before being granted entry into the United States, upon arrival due to being eligible for the Operation Allies Welcome program at the age of 24, he was unable to assimilate into the general population of America.
It was revealed through obtained emails from a resident of Bellingham, Washington that Rahmanullah Lakanwal “has not been functional as a person, father and provider since March of last year, 03/2023. He quit his job that month, and his behavior has changed greatly” before he executed the shooting in Washington DC It was also reported that because Rahmanullah Lakanwal was unable to remain consistently employed, he and his family found themselves facing an eviction after failing to pay rent for their apartment. Rahmanullah Lakanwal also failed to attend his mandated English courses and would barricade himself in a “darkened room” and cease to communicate with his wife and children. It was reported that Rahmanullah Lakanwal would neglect his children when his wife would leave the home to visit family to the point that the local school reported the children's lack of hygienic upkeep and being hungry.
At times Rahmanullah Lakanwal was reported to suffer “manic episodes” and take the family car to go on “cross country” driving expeditions going to places such as Arizona, Seattle, and Chicago. Despite all of this, it was told that there was a short time of disbelief when law enforcement identified Rahmanullah Lakanwal as the prime suspect in the Washington DC National Guard shooting. The reason for this was because it was said that a few members of his community witnessed Rahmanullah Lakanwal playing with his children.
OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS
There's a lot that can be said not only concerning the shooting and killing of National Guard Members Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe and Spc. Sarah Beckstrom this week in Washington DC but addressing that will not paint the entire picture as to why the situation occurred. To find that out, we must take the time out to look at the history of Rahmanullah Lakanwal in terms of who he was and what may have possibly led him down the path that we see today.
As touched on in the article Rahmanullah Lakanwal was indeed a CIA Asset, but he wasn’t just an “ordinary CIA Asset", he was recruited by the CIA as early as 14-15 years old to be a part of the Kandahar Strike Force and rose to the rank of an E-5, which had he been in the U.S. Army, he would been promoted to a Sargent. The Zero Unit he was a part of for roughly 10 years executed many capture and kill missions, raids which would be considered war crimes. within the international community. Some of the war crimes Rahmanullah Lakanwal took part in were raids that led to the killing of both civilian medical and non-medical personnel.
Not only is this a recipe for social and moral disaster, but all this covert paramilitary history in conjunction with the untreated PTSD, depression, and anxiety played the leading roles in the deaths of National Guard Members Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe and Spc. Sarah Beckstrom. The insidious part is that Rahmanullah Lakanwal isn’t the only one. Through the 2121 Operation Allies Welcome program, there were 76,000 Afghans that were migrated into the United States under the program.
Our assessment at VEDA World News is that Rahmanullah Lakanwal was an underage CIA Paramilitary Asset in which the CIA either failed or disregarded the potential future blowback and gambled on him anyway. Moreover, Rahmanullah Lakanwal legally migrated to the United States under the Operation Allies Welcome program a program that he deserved but both CIA and U.S. Military failed to provide and/or conduct a proper mental health evaluation before and/or during his relocation and assimilation timeframe to/within the United States. With 76,000 Afghans taking part in the Operation Allies Welcome program, it is highly probable that Rahmanullah Lakanwal isn’t the only one struggling with severe mental health issues.
