[Trump Germany Italy Spain American Troop] With the American President recalling an estimated 5,000 plus American Troops out of Germany, many Geopolitical Analysts are asking if European countries like Germany still need American Troops to provide security within their borders. In recent days, the Trump Administration has stated to the Press that “We're going to cut way down and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000”. The recall of 5,000 Troops appears to be nothing more than a fraction when compared to there being slightly more than 36,000 American Troops operating in Germany with a total of 86,000 Troops spread across Europe.

Republicans and Democrats in Washington are currently taking the position that the actions of the Trump Administration to withdraw troops from Germany are sending the wrong message to Russia. Although there hasn’t been an official statement delivered to the Press from the Kremlin, there hasn’t been any indication from Russia that they're interested in engaging Germany or any other European country militarily since both World War II and the Cold War. All of this comes on the heel of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stating:

“The Iranians are obviously very skilled at negotiating, or rather, very skillful at not negotiating, letting the Americans travel to Islamabad and then leave again without any result.”

Many Speculators and Analysts within the international community consider President Trump’s withdrawal of American Troops from Germany as nothing more than a retaliatory move in an effort to indirectly punish Germany for the remarks made by Chancellor Friedrich Merz. While the Strait of Hormuz remains close to America and the Collective West with other countries for the exclusion of China and Russia having to pay a toll to move commercial ships in and outside of the Strait of Hormuz, President Trump has threatened to issue sanctions on shipping firms that pay Iranian imposed tolls. President Trump's threats have prompted Chinese President Xi Jinping to order Chinese firms to ignore President Trump’s threats of applying further retaliatory sanctions.

It should be noted that President Trump has also threatened to withdraw troops from both Italy and Spain. President Trump made the following remarks concerning Italy and Spain:

“Italy has not been of any help to us and Spain has been horrible. Absolutely horrible.”

President Trump's remarks came soon after Spain's prime minister Pedro Sánchez called the joint Israeli-American strikes on Iran “illegal” while Italy denied the Americans the ability to utilize their airbases because of the Trump Administration's failure to obtain the proper authorization to execute aerial strikes on Iran.
