[Maduro's militia resist Trump] In light of recent threats by American President Donald Trump and the placing of a $50 million bounty on the head of Venezuela's President  Nicolas Maduro due to President Trump insistence that President Maduro is leading what is known as “The Cartel De Los Soles” who President Trump claims to have shipped hundreds of tons of cocaine to America since the start of the millennium which led to the government of Venezuela to acquire billions in profit. But it wouldn’t be until July of this year that the Trump Administration would label The Cartel De Los Soles as a Terrorist Organization. Due to President Maduro resisting adverse claims made by President Trump, President Trump has recently deployed 4,000 of its troops, several P8 Poseidon jets, a nuclear-powered submarine, an Aegis guided-missile Cruiser, and several naval Destroyers to Venezuelan waters last week. President Maduro stated in response to this that:

“What they’re threatening to do against Venezuela — regime change, a military terrorist attack — is immoral, criminal and illegal.”

On the heels of that statement, President Maduro made a national call to all citizens of Venezuela to join Venezuela’s Militia and in making this call, President Maduro has vowed to deploy an estimated 4.5 million Militia Members across the country in conjunction with Venezuelan Police and the Venezuelan Military as not only a show of force but as a deterrent for any kind of American military invasion on Venezuelan land or sea.

Venezuelan citizens were more than happy to defend Venezuela and showed up by the thousands to designated places in Venezuela to enlist in the Venezuelan Militia. According to President Trump President Maduro is "illegitimate" because President Trump claims that President Maduro “stole” his last two elections. President Maduro stated that:

“This is a matter of peace, of international law, for Latin America and the Caribbean. Anyone who commits an act of aggression against a country in Latin America is attacking all countries”

It should also be noted that President Maduro has reached out to China on this issue as Venezuela has very close trading ties with China – particularly when it comes to oil and gas as Venezuela is considered to be an oil and gas rich nation. In response to America’s provocation in Venezuelan waters, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson  Mao Ning stated:

“China opposes any move that violates the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and a country’s sovereignty and security. We oppose the use or threat of force in international relations and the interference of external forces in Venezuela’s internal affairs under any pretext. We hope that the United States will do more things conducive to peace and security in Latin America and the Caribbean region”

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

The era of the Monroe doctrine is over due to the fact that the world has become multipolar. The issue of drugs and narcotics being trafficked into America is nothing new. In fact, it’s said by many that not only has America's war on drugs been falling since its implementation in the mid 1980’s, but there are more Americans that use drugs now than ever before. So, the question that should be asked is: “What is this latest American provocation really about?” In short, it's about Venezuela’s exportation of oil and gas to China. Keep in mind that Venezuela used to be one of the largest exporters of oil and gas in the world, until America sabotaged its operations by its usual geopolitical meddling (CIA).

Although it’s more likely than not that China will not get militarily involved in this conflict because although America is militarily posturing against Venezuela, America’s provocation is not a direct military threat to China unless America directly harms China's interests in the region. Our prediction on this geopolitical issue is that the Trump Administration will capitulate and reach some sort of agreement with Venezuelan President Maduro.  The reason for this is because the Trump Administration simply doesn’t have the money nor the manpower needed for sustained war with Venezuela or any other country for that matter.
