It seems just about every group of people in the United States of America has had the opportunity to construct, introduce, and get passed as law their own Anti-Hate Bills. Jewish people, Mexicans and people of Latin decent, Gay and Transgender people, and even Asian people have their own Anti-Hate Bills. What's more, is that their bills are prosecutable on the Local, County, State and Federal levels. But the big question that remains is when are the Black People who built this country under force going to get an Anti-Hate Bill that affords them the same benefits and protections as everyone else even though Black People have been in this country the longest?
If you don't know by now, you should know the stats when it comes to Black People in America now being a permanent underclass in the United States of America. Black People go to jail or prison for the same crimes more than another ethnicity in this country. Black People have lower test scores than any other sizable ethnic group. Black People are denied more home loans than any other ethnic group. Black People face higher unemployment rates than other ethnic groups in this country. Black People are subjected to the most adverse health conditions than anyone else in the United States of America and the list of systematic social failures go on and on.
Again, when are Black People going to have Anti-Hate Bills and legislation passed that provides protection and benefits specifically for them in the United Stated of America. Currently it seems as if no one on Capitol Hill cares about Black People enough to do anything about it – this includes the Black People currently at Capitol Hill right now. Keep in mind that the social injustices and inequalities that Black People in America face not only adversely affects the current generation of Black People but will negativity impact at least the next 3 generations of Black People to come in the future.
Back in 2008 with Barak Obama taking office, a huge population of Black People thought they had someone that would fight for them while he was in office. However, instead of Former American President Obama fighting for the Black People in this country as many Black People thought he would; he ended up fighting for the rights of Gay and Transgender people. This was seen by many of the Black People that voted for him as a “slap in the face”.
If former U.S. President Obama were sitting in front of you, he would say that three million Black People received healthcare in America under his Administration. But that's only 3 million out of 40 million Black People; this is a failure. Moreover, Obama would say that the incarceration rate of Black People fell during his term - and it did. However, it only fell on a federal level and not at the State and Local levels; this is another failure. Under the Obama Administration, it's safe to say that American Black People endured a stark wakeup call and are still struggling with that same wakeup call today.
So, what political figure has the courage to create and develop an Anti-Hate Bill for the benefit and protection of Black Americans - none. But we are into solutions here at VEDA Magazine - and the best solution for Black Americans is to absolutely migrate away from the United States of America and join a BRICS+ nation. At least when they do, they will be appreciated and celebrated instead of hated and incarcerated.
