[4 AMERICAN TROOPS KILLED IRAN JORDAN] With Iran targeting and successfully destroying Al-Muwaqqar air base which served as an American military asset in the West Asian country of Jordan, it resulted in four additional American military servicemen being killed raising the total number of American troops killed to 17. The American death toll is predicted to rise as events unfold.  Iran decided to ramp up its counter offensive attacks over the weekend in response to American aggression in the Strait of Hormuz and against the Iranian mainland by executing drone and missile attacks on another American military base in Al-Azraq, Jordan which led to the destruction of two American fighter jets, three other American aircraft, a parking ramp and jet hangers. In response, the Trump Administration has promised that “all Hell would reign down” on Iran.

The recent Iranian counter offensive strikes utilized waves of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles unleashed devastating destruction on several American military bases and assets throughout the region consisting of American military assets in Oman, Syria, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and Bahrain. Going a step further, Iran has also launched missile strikes on both a desalination and power plant in Kuwait because of American military strikes on an Iranian nuclear power plant that was under construction. A senior IRGC commander stated that “any aggression or barbarism will be met with a decisive and devastating response”. It should be noted that each of these West Asian countries either housed American troops or participated in America's war effort against Iran.

While the U.S. CENTCOM (US CENTRAL COMMAND) is pushing the narrative that the four U.S. troops that were killed in Iran recent counter offensive “defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks”, Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth in a follow up statement is quoted saying “their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve.” The Americans have inflicted significant damage to Iranian infrastructure and military assets but have largely failed to deliver a knockout blow to both Iranian leadership and the IRGC. The Iranian military is appearing to match the level of aggression displayed by the Americans while slightly holding back after each round of escalation. Many war strategists and geopolitical analysts are warning that not only is America’s influence in the region flatlining, but the American military’s ammunition and firepower is starting to thin out as the war with Iran and Russia carry on.

With America directing its aggression towards Iran, Iranian officials have vowed that the “entire region will pay the price” for conspiring with the Americans against Iran. This is a move that West Asian countries like Saudi Arabia have feared for some time. As the people in the region pay a price for hosting American military assets in the countries against Iran, the global energy, oil, and gas markets are also paying the price when it comes to oil, and gas sales. Some of the energy, oil, and gas shocks will be delayed and will most likely hit consumers next year.
