[RUSSIA VLADIMIR PUTIN AFRICA SUMMIT] Today marks the first day of the third Russia-Africa Summit in which African leaders from 48 countries will convene in Moscow to discuss ways on how to strengthen agricultural and food security, education, healthcare, economic partnerships and Artificial Intelligence amongst each other. Among the African leaders, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Republic of The Democratic Congo Denis Sassou Nguess, and Ethiopian President Abiy Ahmed will also engage in quadrilateral talks to explore deeper issues between all four nations.
As the world continues down the road of multipolarity, Russia appears to be spearheading more multinational talks which seem to foster growth and economic stability amongst all participating countries within the developing countries. The Russia-African summit looks to have the possibility to move past BRICS and develop into something more cooperative for all countries involved on a level of exclusivity. Also, with this year's Russia-Africa Summit, an estimated 4,000 entrepreneurs from Russia and Africa were invited to participate in conjunction with the heads of state during this year's summit.
It's been highly predicted that this year's Russia-Africa Summit will develop new ways and the creation of deals between participating world leaders on how to increase energy and infrastructure, manufacturing and production, and joint venture capital investments between each other. Also to be discussed are plans on how to engage the youth of participating countries so that they will be able to be placed in a better position to meet the future needs of each country, especially in the technology and Artificial Intelligence sectors.
African leaders will be pushing for talks on global reform and how they can play a greater role in the decision-making process within the international community through acquiring greater representation. With over two dozen African countries participating, it's possible that the collective west may see this summit as somewhat as a threat in certain key areas such as economics and finance, trade, military and security development. Backing this position is the statement made by Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov “We are natural allies in building a multipolar new world order”.
