CHINA SLAMS LATEST AMERICAN OIL SEIZURE | CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESMAN LIN JIAN

[China American Venezuelan oil seizure] The Chinese Foreign Ministry rendered a sharp criticism towards American actions on the high seas as the Americans executed their fourth seizure of maritime vessels that are transporting Venezuelan oil to eastern countries. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lin Jian stated:

“The US practice of arbitrarily seizing other countries’ vessels grossly violates international law”.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lin Jian also went on to say that the actions of the Americans:

“Infringes upon other countries’ sovereignty and security, and all acts of unilateralism or bullying. Venezuela has the right to independently develop mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries.”

With the Americans creating a blockade around Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro has not been swayed by the seizures executed by the Americans. The Trump Administration is calling the latest seized oil tanker “a stateless vessel” and that President Nicolás Maduro has “stolen” American assets within Venezuela. President Donald Trump took to his social media app Truth Social and published the following statement:

“For the theft of our Assets, and many other reasons, including Terrorism, Drug Smuggling, and Human Trafficking, the Venezuelan Regime has been designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Therefore, today, I am ordering a total and complete blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers going into, and out of, Venezuela.”

Despite the claims made by President Donald Trump, the overwhelming majority of geopolitical analysts detest the claims made by the Trump Administration as “outlandish” and “ridiculous” as from their perspective, the Trump Administration has no proof to support their claims of theft by President Nicolás Maduro.

It was reported that the previous oil tankers seized by the Americans have been forced to dock in American waters and the oil aboard the vessels to be extracted and refined in Texas. Currently, China accounts for an estimated 4% of all purchased Venezuelan oil.
