[Elon Musk Donald Trump Third Party Politics] Is it time for a new political third party in America? Well, according to 5.6 million “X” users who responded to Elon Musk’s poll, that seems to be the case. Elon Musk is currently calling for a new political third party to “represent the 80% in the middle” and proposed calling that new third party “America's Party”. This comes on the heels of a discrepancy between Elon Musk and Donald Trump over a $2.4 trillion spending and tax bill that would adversely impact Americans. In response to Elon Musk perceived disloyalty, President Trump threatens to cut all current federal contracts with all companies affiliated with Elon Musk. This would include SpaceX and Tesla, and the result would be millions of dollars in funds lost to Tesla as well as a resulting in a further economic downturn on Elon Musk’s company stock prices.
It was reported that both stocks held by Elon Musk and President Trump dropped. With Tesla shares dropping by 14% and Trump media stocks dropping 8%. While some are wondering what will become of the relationship between the two, speculators think that Elon Musk may possibly shift to the democratic party. While that seems unlikely, a higher probability states that Elon Musk may attempt to utilize his power and influence to not only create a third party but to attempt to run for President of the United States himself in the 2028 election cycle. President Trump on the other hand may possibly find that his public image as President will continue to decline over the course of his turn making him less and less likely to have the power to make any amendments to the American constitution to run for a third term.
OUR POSITION AT VEDA COMMUNICATIONS LLC.
We think that even though the idea of a third party sounds great especially during a time of international chaos and uncertainty, American citizens are in no hurry and not in the slightest bit a rush to cast a vote for a new third party. This Is demonstrated in the fact that every third party in America has historically failed to capture enough votes to even become relevant in casual conversations amongst Americans. We also hold the position that Elon Musk is more of a businessman than a politician of any type and when faced with watching his businesses lose capital and running the country if he were to become President, he will choose to tend to his business enterprise rather than to “put America first”. Besides, he's more South African and Canadian than he is an American on paper.
Considering the current track record of Trump 2.0, President Trump is more likely to step back from Elon Musk, not because of the current situation in the white house or because of Elon Musk accusing President Trump of being in Epstein’s “Black Book”, but because Trump like Elon Musk is not only a businessman at the end of the day; but President Trump also has more pressing geopolitical matters to attend to. With mounting pressure from China, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, the European Union, Greenland, the growing presence of China in South America and the vast array of domestic issues America is facing, it's safe to say that President Trump has his hands full for the duration of his administration.
Recently it has come to light that Elon Musk may have gained his American citizenship through fraudulent means and that it could possibly open him up for not only an investigation but to be deported back to either South Africa or even Canada. In 2024, it was the Washington post that broke the story about Elon Musk working illegally in America by creating a shell company by the name of “Zip2” without the proper work visa and instead only acquired a j-1 student visa. Whether the allegations are true or not is up to debate. But the one thing that’s true and constant is that America will not allow room for a third political party and that American citizens have lost faith in the voting process because they know and understand that the only vote that matters are the votes that are cast by big businesses.
