HOUSTON’S OWN SCARFACE JOINS BILL BELLAMY FOR THE GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN

[HOUSTON SCARFACE GET OUT THE VOTE CAMPAIGN BILL BELLAMY] With early voting just around the corner, Democrats in Houston, Texas assembled to urge voters to get out and get to the polls during an event called “Get Out The Vote” which was held at the Bayou Event Center located at 9401 Knight Rd, Houston, TX 77045. This effort was further pushed by celebrities that came out to perform at last night’s event such as Houston Rapper Brad Jordan “Scarface”, Bill Bellamy who is best known for his film role in ice cube’s “Player Club”, as well as other known celebrities who took to the stage. While the gathering was considered a success, there were some in attendance that expressed that the night was lukewarm at best.
It should be noted that political candidates from local elections were also in attendance such as Dr. Letitia Latifa Plummer, Texas Rep. Ron Reynolds, Texas Rep. Christian Menefee as well as various Houston City Council members, and Constables. Each took roughly 5 minutes to express to the crowd why they believe they should be participating in both this year's mid-term election and elections in general. While Candidates and Incumbents did their best to motivate attendees, they did so while expressing why they thought Republicans were not the best candidates and political opponents to vote for.
Currently the race to see who will win mid-term elections is close between Republicans and Democrats but while Democrats appear to have somewhat of a slight lead in the polls due to early counts and miscalculations by the Trump Administration, there is a significant population of both voters and political analysts that are taking the position that Republicans can and may win majority of votes during this year’s mid-term elections.
