[Israel Hamas Jabalia refugee camp] Targeting Hamas leader and high-ranking Police Officer Col. Mohammed Marwan Salem, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) killed 11 people in collateral damage during its bombing of a police post in Jabalia refugee camp located in northern Gaza. Reports indicated that the IDF launched 4 missiles back-to-back striking and destroying the police post. Israel is making the claim that those killed in the missile strike with Col. Mohammed Marwan Salem were terrorists belonging to Hamas and that they were operating from the police post. It should be noted that Israel has not provided any proof that Col. Mohammed Marwan Salem nor the victims were a part of Hamas nor has Israel provided any proof that the police post was being utilized by Hamas to carry out any of its organizational activities.

Besides Col. Mohammed Marwan Salem who was killed, three other names of people who Israel claims were terrorists have been released. Their names are Police Officers Ghassan al-Daqas and Abdul Malik al-Jabin. The third person that was killed by Israel was Yaman Abu Obeida. It was reported that all Police Officers were on duty and conducting patrols in a Fallujah roundabout in a civilian vehicle when the missiles struck. All persons killed in what the Gaza Interior Ministry are calling a “massacre” and their bodies were taken to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and some of the bodies were taken to an American field hospital.
