THE WIZARD OF THE KREMLIN

[The Wizard of the Kremlin] Tomorrow in theaters, The Wizard of the Kremlin directed by Oliver Assayas highlighting the life and political career of now Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin begins.  This film was written by Giuliano Da Empoli, Oliver Assayas, and Emmanuel Carrère. According to IDBM, the synopsis of The Wizard of the Kremlin is about how “A young Russian filmmaker becomes an unlikely advisor to Vladimir Putin as he rises to power in post-Soviet Russia, navigating the new era's complexities and chaos”. The Wizard of the Kremlin stars Paul Dano as Vadim Baranov, Alicia Vikander as Ksenia, and Tom Sturridge as Dmitri Sidorov, and of course Jude Law as Vladimir Putin. The Wizard of the Kremlin is set during the era of the Soviet Union, to the collapse of the Soviet Union, to the current Government of the Russian Federation.

President Putin, an ex-KGB Spy/Intelligence Officer is known for his high degree of intelligence, resilience, being a master strategist, and being calm and calculated as he navigated through the geopolitical arena on the world stage. The Wizard of the Kremlin is based on a novel of the same name in French entitled “Le mage du Kremlin” written by Giulian Da Empoli written in 2022. This novel consists of 288 pages, and it features what some are calling a “fictionalized insiders look as Vladimir rise to power, narrated by a character inspired by real-life Kremlin advisor Vladislav Surkov.” But fictionalized or not, it is suspected that both supporters and detractors of Vladimir Putin will find The Wizard of the Kremlin politically intriguing, tense, and dramatic to some degree.

The Wizard of the Kremlin is rated “R” for some moderate sexual material, graphic nudity, violence, language, and grisly images.
