With that being said, it’s a no-brainer that when a country is having financial difficulties, those same financial difficulties get passed down to the people of that country. For those that have two income providers in the home, they get the opportunity to somewhat skate by if they budget right. Thanks to either modern technology in the form of language translation apps or the human work around known in Japan as “coordinators”, who play a vital role in the process of helping Sex Workers negotiate the price of their sexual encounter on the spot with their clients.

These coordinators also serve another purse in Tokyo's sex tourism industry and that’s their ability to “guide and assist” sex tourists on how to find the type of Sex Worker they’re looking for as well as serve as discreet walking billboards to attract sex tourists.
