Tonight, American Vice-Presidential hopefuls Tim Walz and J.D. Vance will be facing off. For many Americans that believe in the American political process, tonight will be just as important to them as the presidential debate between Former President Donald Trump and current Vice-President Kamala Harris. If you’re wondering what to expect during the course of this 90-minute Vice-Presidential debate and what political issues each of the Vice-President’s hopefuls will be tackling - it can honestly be said that most Americans have absolutely no idea, thus have no more of an idea than you do.
But you can bet that whatever topics they will be touching on tonight will be the same topics that were talked about during the previous Presidential Debate. No matter which side, if any, that you subscribe to, we urge you to listen to both candidates and vote your interest if you choose to vote at all. With that being said, we would also like to take the time out to encourage you not to fall into the trap of listening to what entertainers and influential people have to say about who they are voting for or if they are giving any advice to who you should vote for. Some of the rules for tonight’s Vice-Presidential debate are as follows:
No pre-written notes
No props on stage
No opening statements
No audience
Each candidate will have two minutes to respond with one minute to engage in rebuttals
Mic will not be muted for any part of the debate
Both candidates will have two minutes for closing remarks
Tonight’s debate will be hosted by CBS in Midtown Manhattan New York and will start at 9pm and end at 10:30pm. The debate’s moderators are Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan. You can watch the Vice-President Debate here, at VEDA Communications.
