If you look at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), then you would be essentially looking at a Pitbull with no teeth. What we mean by this is that it’s one thing to create a law, but it’s another thing to enforce a law. This is especially true in the case of the ICJ. For many people the ICJ stands as a symbol of unity within the international community. For others, the ICJ is the dumbest thing that could have even been created in the history of law on an international scale. When you look at which countries subscribe to the rulings of the ICJ, it's mostly countries no one typically cares about or talks about. To be even more specific, the countries that allow themselves to be subjected to the ICJ tend to be poor black and brown countries.
For the more developed countries, it becomes a matter of jurisdiction. Superpowers such as the United States and China don’t recognize the International Court of Justice and neither does Israel. Knowing this, people the world over are asking: “If the rulings of the ICJ aren’t enforceable, then why do they even bother making rulings?” Currently, the ICJ has no police force or a body of internationally recognized law-enforcement agents that could or would execute the arrest warrants against neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. With the world split in three ways on not just the validity of the ICJ arrest warrant, and if the ICJ is even worth listening to; it seems that the ICJ has reached the tipping point of illegitimacy because of their colossal inability to execute an international arrest warrant.
With that said, the point is, there is no international authoritative body to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, no more than there is one to arrest Russian President Valamir Putin. As it stands, both the United Kingdom and Ireland are posturing behind the idea that they will consider enforcing the arrest warrant issued by the ICJ, but anyone with the slightest knowledge of geopolitics, understands that the UK acts like a lost bastard child that can’t do anything without the approval of the Americans. So, for them to entertain the thought of arresting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is nothing short of pure comedy goal within the geopolitical arena.
The truth is the Israeli Prime Minister is more likely to be arrested by the judicial body of Israel if not outright killed by the people of Israel for all the turmoil he’s caused in and outside of Israel. The people of Israel have been protesting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions for months, with some protests becoming violent. It should also be reported that there has been talks of a coup occurring within Israel because of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions within the international committee.
