Can Artificial Intelligence replace Producers, Directors, Actors, Actresses, and supporting crew members? We would like to say yes. The reason for this is because of what is happening on the streaming platform YouTube. AI will undoubtedly go the same way. In Hollywood, the Directors, Actors, Actresses. modeling agencies who recruit and recommend people for acting roles, and Producers all have the power concentrated in their hands in conjunction with major studios. What we mean by this is that they decide who was skilled enough to be placed on the big screen. However, with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, that barrier may soon be destroyed.
Again, we go back to YouTube. YouTube is a place where anyone can be just about anything. In fact, with the right camera, lighting set-up coupled with in demand content, you can have an audience that’s bigger than the many mainstream networks have on a nightly basis. Examples of this are YouTube personalities such as Kevin Samuel, Jake Paul and Mr. Beast just to name a few. Even more than that, whether you believe what these YouTube personalities are about or not is totally up to you. But the bottom line is, the YouTubers' names here and more can consistently pull in more views than anything Hollywood and your local television station can attract on a nightly basis. Adding insult to injury, the people who literally “run the show” already know this and have known this for a very long time.
When we look at Artificial Intelligence, where it’s headed in terms of its technological advances, its public availability, and the role it will play in film production - it’s a no brainer that Artificial Intelligence will undoubtedly have a huge impact on not just Hollywood Directors, Actors And Actresses but it will have a huge impact on everyone that has a role in producing Hollywood Films all the way down to local broadcast channels. Currently a lot of people that work in Hollywood are on either on strike or about to reach a deal within the perpetual three year agreed upon term for the big wigs to sit at the table and reevaluate Hollywood business deals which include everything from royalty payments, pay, minimum wage, the Writers Guild so on and so forth.
That leaves us with the following questions: how long will it take for Hollywood to come to an agreement of when to allow Artificial Intelligence to not only create artificial actors and actresses, but how long will it take Hollywood to allow AI to write entire scripts and have a fully automated streamlined film production team from start to finish when it comes to film creations? Is that even possible? Who knows. Here’s another question for you to think about. How long will it be until Artificial Intelligence replaces your favorite weatherman and or your favorite News Anchor? The age of Artificial Intelligence has begun, and we think that society may not have the ability to resist it and thus we all will be forced to embrace it at some levels if not all levels whether we like to or not.
