RUSSIA: FSB FOILS UKRAINIAN SPY DRONE ATTACK, INTERCEPTS 342 DRONES OVER WEEKEND

[Russia FSB Ukrainian spy drone attack] Today, the Russian FSB was able to foil a plot by Ukraine to deliver drones guided by Artificial Intelligence inside Russia to execute drone strikes on several Russian military assets and defense related corporations. The scale of the operation was masterminded by Ukrainian spies that were somehow embedded within Russia. It is highly suspected by the FSB that some western entities also played a role in the situation. It was reported that the drones were broken down into parts in a failed effort to avoid Russian detection and shipped into containers via balloons and carrier drones over the Russian border near the far eastern region of Amurand and the second drop of the drone shipment to the Shagol airfield in the central-western region of Chelyabinsk.

The FSB reported that the Ukrainian operatives were going to assemble the explosive carrying drones in civilian garages that they were renting. By the end of the interdiction operation, the FSB seized a total of 24 drones and 2lb (1 kg) of TNT. It should be noted that the control modules that were going to be used to control the drones were anti-electronic AI warfare control modules that were western manufactured in origin. Along with this latest seizer, the FSB were also to confiscate a couple of ground control stations fitted with the ability to self-destruct as well as several communication devices that were being used to contact their handlers.

The smuggled drones and associated equipment were transported by civilian vehicles with trailers attached that had fake bottoms. This comes on the heels of the FSB seizing 13 anti-electronic warfare drones that were smuggled into Russia last week by Ukrainian spies who had the objective of executing attacks towards Russia's airfield in the Rostov Region which is located in southern Russia. With this finding, it was reported that during several interdiction operations the Russian defense military stated that despite an estimated 342 drones being intercepted by its Air Defense Systems, 11 Russian civilians were killed in overnight drone attacks carried out by Ukrainian operatives. Regions such as Enerhodar, Belgorod, and Moscow were reportedly struck with civilian cars and residential homes being the targets.

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

With drone warfare being highly successful in the battlefield from both sides, there seems to be nothing that can reverse this trend as war strategists predict that the use of drones in war will only increase over time. For the people of Russia, they are wondering how long will President Putin allow the war to continue as they have not only grown tired of the war, but they have become fatigued of having to worry about whether or not which one of them will become the next likely target of a Ukrainian drone strike. While Russian citizens have and will continue to show resilience in face of Ukrainian drone strikes, the push for President Putin to put an end to the Ukrainian military, its drone strikes and its western handlers once and for all is at an all-time high.
