[Russian Kiev leaves millions without power] Despites Russia’s urgent call for peace with Ukraine, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy continues to reject any form of Russia peace deal. With another round of peace talks on the table, Russia was forced to launch another round of counter offensive measures this time striking Kyiv with a borage of drones and missiles yesterday that left one person dead, 27 wounded, and plunged over half Kyiv into darkness in one of the coldest months of the winter. While Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to discuss territorial and security guarantees, Russian president Vladimir Putin has expressed that Ukraine’s window to reach a deal with Russia has now closed.

Russia strategically targeted Kyiv’s energy sector and other facilities utilized by the Ukrainian military as well as various other industrial and residential buildings with "long-range precision-guided weapons from land, air, and sea, including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles" said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. It was reported that Russia launched an estimated 40 missiles and 500 drones which demolished roughly 10 buildings and crippling the city of Kyiv and devastating the Ukrainian military.

OUR POSITION AT VEDA WORLD NEWS

With the 2025 year quickly coming to an end, we predict that it will be very difficult for Russia to reverse its position on how it will militarily engage Ukraine. From the looks of it, Russia may gain more that the 20% we and other geopolitical analyst predicted to date. Supporting our position is President Vladimir Putin who stated to the Press that [Russia will achieve its objectives by force if Kyiv doesn’t want peace], considering the empirical evidence available, Ukraine is not seeking peace and haven’t been seeking peace for a while. Also backing our position here at VEDA World news is Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov who stated: "We see that Vladimir Zelensky’s regime and his European curators are not ready to engage in constructive talks. This regime terrorizes civilians by targeting civilian infrastructure in our country with its acts of sabotage”.

If we were to give any advice to Russian President Vladimir Putin when it comes to Ukraine, we would say “take it all”.
