UFL: ORLANDO STORM DEFEAT HOUSTON GAMBLERS 24-23

[UFL Houston Gamblers Orlando Storm] Today the Houston Gamblers faced off against the Orlando Storm. With both teams with the Houston Gamblers standing at two wins and four losses and the Orlando Storm standing at 4 wins two losses this game makes for an interesting one as both teams duke it out on the field. With the Houston Gamblers having a great defense and the Orlando Storm having a great defense fan of the Houston Gamblers are looking to see if the Gamblers will defeat Orlando today. Near the bottom of the first quarter, Wide Receiver Elijhah Badger of the Orlando Storm was able to score a touchdown followed by a punt by Kicker Michael Lantz while the Houston Gamblers were able to score three points.
Looking at the stats for the first quarter starting with the Orlando Storm, offensively they were able to acquire a pass total of 50% as they rushed 15 yards, with three receivers they stood at 39 yards. In contrast, the Houston gamblers were able to acquire a pass total of 66.7% while rushing 17yards, receiving a whopping 111 yards. The Orlando Storm was able to score another touchdown bringing the score to 14-3. At roughly at the 14th minute of the second quarter, the Houston Gamblers were able to intercept and soon after score a touchdown, bring the score 9-14 and successfully punt the ball bringing the score to 10-14. The Orlando Storm was able to come back and score an additional three points via a field goal to bring the score to 17-10. The Houston Gamblers were able to close out the second quarter scoring and additional three points, bringing the score to 17-13.
While the third quarter of the game could mostly be considered a stalemate between the two teams, it would be the Houston Gamblers that would score a touchdown and take the lead with four minutes left on the clock, bringing the score 17-20. This was a spectacular play by both quarterback John Rhys Plumlee and running back Jalen White as this touchdown was a result of a 49-yard pass. The triumph of the Houston gamblers was short lived as Wide receiver Elijhah Badger performed a 31-yard catch and scored his second touchdown of the game bringing the score 24-23
In the fourth quarter neither team appeared to be back down. With neither team backing down the final score was 24-23 with the Houston Gamblers losing to the Orlando Storm by one point.
