[America Iran bomb] Despite several attempts to reach both a deal and a ceasefire between the tri-sided war between America, Israel, and Iran, America conducted aerial strikes against infrastructure in the southern Iran commercial Port of Sirik, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm yesterday injuring several civilians. The actions of America are considered disturbing to many countries within the international community because this latest round of airstrikes come during the weeklong funeral procession of former Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who was assassinated by the Americans and Israeli’s. There were an estimated 8 million people currently still mourning his death as the funeral procession continues along its multi city tour in Iran.

The Americans are taking the position that the air strikes that were executed yesterday were retaliatory air strikes because of the strikes Iran conducted on Qatari LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran successfully countered the claims set by the Americans by stating that the tankers that were fired upon were due to the tankers failing to not only head to the warning of the IRGC to identify itself and change its course, but also because the operators of the vessel failed to gain permission to sail in Iranian coastal waters, but those vessels were attempting to bypass the waters controlled by Iran.

Two Saudi crude oil vessels (Al Rekayyat and Wedyan) were also heavily damaged during the time Iran conducted its strikes. The American stated that they targeted nearly 80 small boats, radars and defense systems yesterday. The strikes conducted by the Americans come after the Trump administration bragged about destroying nearly all of Iran's military assets. This claim made by the Americans has turned out to be not only false, but nearly impossible to accomplish by geopolitical and war analysts.

With America bombing southern Iran which included the cities of, it was reported that a IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) service member was killed. Iranian authorities stated that in retaliation they targeted a total of 85 American military bases and assets in Kuwait and the Sheikh Isa is Bahrain as well as an American MQ9 drone. It should be noted that the IRGC executed devastating missile attacks on America's fifth fleet leaving the naval assets inoperable. The outcome of the actions of both nations has resulted in America not only backing out of the fragile ceasefire and memorandum of understanding which was signed last month on the 17th, but it also resulted in the American's reapplying its sanctions on Iranian oil.

The price of oil was also negatively impacted in the aftermath of all of this with crude oil prices increasing 6% to $78.64 a barrel. Futures for August crude oil deliveries also increased 6.25% to 74.83 a barrel by the end of the day yesterday as well. The rise in oil and gas shipping is expected to affect consumers worldwide. Geopolitical analysts are taking the position that any deal between the Americans and Iran is “over” and the war between the two countries will continue to escalate. The question is how much and how far is the Trump Administration willing to escalate it’s failing military actions towards Iran? Iran doesn’t appear to be backing down from the Americans either as the demand for retaliation against both the Americans and Israel for the assassination of former Ayatollah Ali Khamenei comes to an all-time high.

The one thing that is known is something will be done by the Iranian, the question that we at VEDA World News and the rest of the world are asking is what will that something be?
