[Israel Hezbollah] Despite President Donald Trump having essentially agreed to both a two-week cease-fire with Iran but also Iran's 10-point plan, Israel has continued its war of aggression toward Hezbollah in Lebanon. The result of Israel's recent bombing has not only shaken the already fragile cease-fire deal between Iran and Trump, but it has resulted in Israel executing over 100 aerial strikes within 10 minutes across Lebanon on what they perceive to be a target related to Hezbollah. Israel's bombing campaign has killed over 250 Lebanese citizens including Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem while wounding 1,165 yesterday. In response to Israel's bombing, U.K. Foreign secretary Yvette Cooper stated that she was “I’m deeply troubled about the escalating attacks that we saw from Israel in Lebanon yesterday.” by Israel’s actions which she and others within the international community would further degrade the cease-fire that has just been formed.

Foreign secretary Yvette Cooper also went on to state that the cease-fire deal formed should include Lebanon and that if it doesn’t it will “destabilize the whole region, and also it’s just the right thing to do”. Hezbollah has retaliated to Israel's strikes by launching rockets into northern Israel. The extent of the damage ensued, people killed and/or wounded is currently unknown as Israel has engaged in the practice of censorship over discrimination of information into how many Israelis have been killed and/or wounded since its joint war on Iran with the Americans.

According to many politicians and geopolitical analysts Israel is not considered a rogue state due to its recent and cumulative past actions of aggressions in the region.  The deal President Trump agreed to with Iran has Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet expressing a bittersweet message to the Press organization as they were cited stating that even though they “support” President Trump decision to engage in a cease-fire with Iran, it will still execute military action towards Hezbollah. Israeli opposition leader and Netanyahu detractor Yair Lapid stated that:

“There has never been such a political disaster in all of our history. Israel wasn’t even at the table when decisions were made concerning the core of our national security.”

It should be noted that one of the points of Iran's 10-point peace plan was that “a complete ceasefire on all fronts, including conflicts involving allies” must take place. Due to Israel being an American ally in the region violating this term the current question is will this be considered by the Iranian government a breach of their 10-point peace plan before the ink could dry if officially recognized by the Americans? Backing this question is Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei who recently stated that America has already “reneged” on the latest cease-fire deal because America had just “agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon.”

While Israel takes the position that Lebanon was never a part of the deal and thus has free range to bomb Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, geopolitical analysts are accusing Israel of purposely foregoing actions that have undermined the integrity of the cease-fire deal. While this may or not be the case, Iran has concretely taken the position that they will never trust America due to it’s perpetual actions of making and breaking deals over the decades.
