[Nigeria kidnappings killing] In the Zamfara State of northern Nigeria, an estimated 56 people were kidnapped and killed by what Nigerian authorities are calling “insurgents”. The kidnapped victims were said to have been taken from Banga Village in Kauran, Namoda as early as March this year.

[Angola protest on diesel tax] since Monday of this week, protests and riots have been ensuing in the African country of Angola. The reason for the mass protest and riots is centered around the fact that the Angolan government decided it would raise the tax on diesel fuel to roughly 33%.

[Israel Knesset vote] Today the Israeli Knesset passed a vote that would allow the Israeli government to claim sovereignty over the Palestinians West Bank and the Jordan Valley. [Ukraine Russia Istanbul peace talks] Today a third round of peace talks are set to occur between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul, Türkiye. [Montreal defeats Houston Dynamo 3-1] Last night's game between the Houston Dynamo and the Montréal was a game that despite the Dynamo not having their full starting players up and running in the first half, was still a game worth watching. This is despite Montréal scoring two points within the first quarter.
