[Israel Hamas hostages release] In a turn of events, Israel has agreed to release 1,900 Palestinian prisoners in custody, in exchange Hamas has also agreed to release the last of the living prisoners in custody. The exchange of hostages from both sides is due to the ceasefire deal that is set to progress in phases over time. The releasing of hostages from both sides comes just before American President Donald Trump is set to attend the Sharm el- Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt.

[Hamas Israel Trump peace deal] Yesterday, Hamas accepted certain parts of American President Trump's 20-point peace plan which include the releasing of all 48 prisoners in which 20 are considered to still be alive, the creation of a new and independent Palestinian government to be led by an international body.
