With Nvidia investing $500 billion in American Artificial Intelligence infrastructure for the construction of AI based supercomputers it sounds like a really good thing. Many Americans think that it would be great for the economy, great for high paying skilled jobs, and more importantly it would also be great optics on the world stage for America to demonstrate its ability to manufacture cutting-edge high-end AI based supercomputers.

Say what you like, while the Trump Administration has been busy invoking tariffs on countries all over the world, China has been exercising a different approach and that is being in the business of business. Today China and Vietnam inked a new cooperation deal that includes over 40 areas of trade interest that ties the two countries closer than ever in terms of economic trade and development.

With American tariffs placed on so many countries around the world, one of the biggest drawbacks for America is that it is finding itself ever increasingly isolated when it comes to both geopolitics and when it comes to global trade.
